Ray,

I've got a pair of such adapters that I've not yet installed.  The
packages include adapter board (installation obvious), the SATA cable
(also obvious), and a power adapter (usage unclear).  Naturally, no
documentation -- either manual or diagram.

Question:  Does one need to connect power to both the hard drive _and_
to the adapter board?
