[mdlug] Dynamic storage system

Some time ago there was a discussion about dynamic storage systems.

At that time I reported that I was getting a Promise ns4300n.
Well I have had it about 4-1/2 months now and have been really pleased
with it.

There was some interest on if this device was hackable.  I can report
yes it is.

It is running Busybox.  I have gained root access and have made some
adjustments of my own.
I just got a rsync server running on it.  I can also now administrate
the system via a telnet login.
I am now attempting to get ssh login working.
I don't have a lot of time so I don't when I will get this done but will
keep everyone informed.
