Currently I'm on assignment in New York, But "Linux and PDA's andf cell phones" would be a good session.

 Palm syncing is probably the most mature of any with Linux. I've
 synced
my Treo 650 via both USB and Bluetooth, and I synced my older Palm
 models
via serial and infrared as well.

 Linux also has a very good collection of development tools for writing
Palm programs.
