There will be a way to do that. Linux has an interface called 'inotify'
which can watch for filesystem changes and notify an app without polling. I'll
be adding that once I've got the basics finished up. As soon as you can actually
take a tour of the filesystem, walk around and visit various directories, I'll
be posting the source code.
