Speaking of Linux Games My al time favorite I saw Decent 3 on line for sale for 11.00 for Linux.

I played a free demo version of Darwinia once. It was indeed
"different". I think it's well worth $4, at any rate.

Ubuntu 7.06? Was that Gutsy's Alpha release? ;-)
Yes, this is one of the bittersweet realities of Linux: too many
different ways of doing things makes it difficult for a vendor to
package software that works flawlessly everywhere. On the other hand,
you can at least fix it if something doesn't work, unlike certain
other proprietary systems where if it doesn't run, you're just out of
luck...
