Cellphone users,

I'm still trying to access my LG VX6100 cellphone with bitpim.

How do I use/enable/install/? "USB modem protocol" driver/? ?

I am not familiar with udev,
and have been unable to learn how to configure it.
The man pages have not helped.
The 1-page howto I found has not helped.
Where is the documentation?

I suspect that I need to see /dev/ttyACM0 but it does not appear
automatically, and I don't know how to install it.
What kernel module is required?

I have a straight-through cable and SuSE-10.1
When I plug it in,
/var/log/messages reports:
