It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the problem with "reading
between the lines" is that the reader can insert whatever they want to
in between those lines, regardless of how true or untrue that
invisible (and non-existent) content is. But I guess it does take
*some* intelligence to realize that...

Hmm. I don't think a license has the power to do that, but I could be
wrong. Then again, with your penchant for reading between the lines,
I'm not at all sure the GPLv3 does what you say it does. :-D

"Can be" and "is" are different things. And I debate the "can be" part
as well. I seriously doubt anybody's going to make a living by selling
a product without promoting it. There's plenty of "easy" Linux distros
out there. Mepis is far better than Linspire, and no more difficult at
all.

Then you're faulting them for what you think they're doing, rather
than what they actually are doing. But I'm getting tired of reminding
you that you're speculating.
