 I've heard that Vista can, at least, read drivers and such from less
antiquated media, like thumb drives. Microsoft isn't always stupid -
sometimes they're just comically incompetent or occasionally evil. :->

 Well, Vista isn't selling all that well. Dell had to back off and offer
XP as a choice to consumers again:
