Yeah, Quicken usually bugs you about creating backups at regular
intervals. You even have a choice these days of creating your backup
on the quicken servers. Having had to use the backup file more than
once already, I can say that it works wonderfully. That being said, I
am shuttering my Quicken usage now after more than 10 years of use due
to recent changes in their software which make it difficult to use and
maintain.

I wish I could say that gnucash was a good substitute, however, it is
a LONG way from being a good substitute. Oh well, maybe I'll volunteer
as a developer on the gnu cash project.
