[mdlug] Video Capture and Editing App

I am looking for some suggestions of a good video capture and editing
app.  I used Pinnacle Studio 8 (in my dark days of windows) and would
like some thing comparable.  I need to capture from a Firewire video
digital camera, I have all hardware needed ie. firewire card and hard
drive space.

Ubuntu 7.04 Fiesty Fawn
Intel P4 2.4GHz
1280MB DDR ram
DL-DVD burner
200GB free hard drive space
