In another forum, someone was criticizing Linux, and one of the things
they said was that any system that requires User Groups just to get it
running was no good (heavily paraphrasing).  My response was that
things have changed a lot, and people don't actually *need* a LUG
anymore; but that LUGs were still a fantastic source of free tech
support, far better then most commercial tech support for proprietary
systems.

Even Mac users sometimes need support, and Linux users are much more
likely then most to be doing more advanced things that are not easy
yet.

Anyhow, we're here.  Kind of silly to see an alleged corpse sit up and
ask: "Gee, am I dead?"
