My Thunderbird implementation handles the above link just fine.
You might look at
"Edit-->Preferences-->Display-->Formatting[Tab]--->Wrap text to fit..
[check box]

Sea Monkey includes both a browser and a mail client, it's not clear
which you are referring to.

When I browse pages with long unwrapped lines I often select to view the
source code. I usually find the text I want to read intelligently
wrapped some where down the page.
