Hmm... Can I deliver that statement with a straight face now that I've gone
back to the Dark Side?
You really want to impact Linux's desirability? It's all about the games.
Convince game companies to release games on multiple platforms. Linux does
everything else really really well. But when given the choice between the
latest reslease at Best Buy, or Frozen Bubble (or paying extra to fight with
Cedega to *maybe* get the game to run)... Linux loses. Big time. People who
don't play games don't seem to realize how important they are, and dismiss
the issue, but this is what needs to happen for Linux to take the desktop.
There simply aren't enough games that people want to play available for the
Linux platform.
