gvim is my favorite.  That is Graphical Vim not the console based vim.
It does a nice job of colorizing what is different, new, and missing 
between 2 source files.
As a source editor, gvim is pretty good at colorizing almost every 
coding syntax on Earth.

P.S.  gvim has an added bonus, it is available for many computing platforms.
