[mdlug] Chaning distros

I have used CentOS and yes, it is pretty much Red Hat with different logos.
If I am going to go with something that I am not paying for support on (Red
Hat), then I want the flexibility that Gentoo provides.  You can get pretty
much any software you want with the portage system, and it handles all of
the dependencies for you, and you don't have to go to the maintainer's web
site and download the rpm's to install.  Alternately, if you do want to use
rpm's, you can install the rpm ebuild on Gentoo and use them.

For enterprise use, I'd say Red Hat hands down.  For non-profit/hobbyist
use, I'd say it's almost a toss-up between CentOS and Gentoo, but it all
depends on exactly what you are going to do with it.
