Shouldn't be a problem-- you can simply install the Debian stuff to 
where the FC5 stuff is now, using the same GRUB options-- but why not 
wait a few days?  Debian 4.0 (Etch) is only days from release, and it's 
much more up-to-date than 3.1...

And why is your name shown as "-" in the "From:" field?
