 You don't mention what kind of video processor it has - Intel? Nvidia? ATI?
Other? That can have *some* effect, depending on precisely what the user wants
to do.

 That's plenty fast, so long as the user isn't running Vista. :->

 Pro or semi-pro video production or serious gaming needs more than that,
but general home-movie work and such would be fine. I get by with less CPU
than that, effectively. Those are the only things that really strain any CPU
made in the last five years.

 Well, except for HD video. That wants at least a 2+GHz processor, and ideally
a good video card with dedicated hardware, but with 3.4GHz it should play an
HD video even if it's only got Intel video.
