[mdlug] What to give a Software Programmer interested in Linux

Hi,
	I have a friend that has up to now had a passing interest in
Linux. He has just gone on assignment where the boss has decreed ''Thou
shalt learn Linux'' ahem ''Yesterday!''. My thought is to make him
copies of what live CD's I have which would be Ubuntu and DSL. I think
I should get him a copy of Knoppix and I heard openSuse has one now? I
also have an IBM T22 Thinkpad w/openSuse 10.3 on it he can play with.
I'll send along my relatel bookmarks and point him to the mailing lists
and forums.
	Is there anything I didn't think of?
