[mdlug] Podcast questions

Seeing the recent list of podcasts got me interested in
checking out this new (to me) technology.  I've used
rhythmbox for music cds and Internet radio stations,
so that's the first app I used for podcasts.  It works,
but it seems to lack some basic features, such as showing
what subsciptions you have.

I'm guessing that new podcasts will automatically download
and appear in the playlist.  Is that right?  Will the mp3
files get deleted automatically after a certain amount of
time?  Do I need to manage (delete) the files?

Also, what software do you use and recommend for podcasts?
