For HD you will get about 12.5 hours of video.
now how did I get that?
Figure around 8GB for each hour of HD Video.
now divide 100GB drive by 8GB/hr and you get 12.5 Hrs of video, not alot but YMMV.

Get a bigger drive, if you are putting the money into the other hardware spend a little on HDD space.
