 The good news with Linux is that trying a distro out isn't a big deal. Pop
in the live CD and see what doesn't work. Installs to hard drive are usually
quick and then you can see if more things work. I've had good experience with
Ubuntu, and I'm not thrilled with Novell's recent 'patents and Microsoft'
moves, but no one distribution is the be-all and end-all. That's *why* we have
distributions.
