[mdlug] Moving to a new box

I like to use partimage that is on most of the live cd's (knoppix).
It doesn't care about disk size but will restore the partitions to the
same size. Then you can use gparted to move things around and set
mount points. I usually have my /home and /var each in their own
partition cause they are the things that are generic to each distro.
I use partimage even to restore the kids XP machine after they trash
it every couple months.
