- Basically just requires copyright notice
- Advertising clause (now dropped)
- Microsoft bought a BSD-licensed TCP stack
- Artistic License (Perl)
- Like GPL, but have to clearly differentiate modified versions
- Mozilla Public License
- Like GPL, except one particular corporation can make commercial versions
- Sun uses it, too, for OpenSolaris
- Creative Commons License ("Some Rights Reserved")
- Intended for more literary, media works
- Several versions; can allow or prohibit commercial use, allow
or prohibit modifications, etc.
