he liked cars better than videos. Carl talked about a few videos
that he found concerning the experience of space. Each of the
first three are the first video in a series.
Richard the Tech Man followed up with Starfleet Man (Jimmy T.)
which directed us to discuss various actors in the Star Trek show
and other roles they have taken since then.
We talked at length about Rich’s experience with Firefox and the
failure to deactivate unselected tabs. He then described some
issues with his touchpad in Windows. Carl’s suggestions were
to find a new driver or reinstall the current one…or find a Linux
distro specifically designed for older computers with limited
resources.
During a chat about ai bots, Pat mentioned that you can use
pliny.gg or venice.ai at your own risk to bypass restrictions
within an LLM.
We talked a little bit about 3D printers. Pat is truculently looking
at various models, and I hope he’ll share the results of his search.
