Welcome to the Metro Detroit Linux User Group. We just had an install fest near you (Inkster Road Just North of Michigan Ave). We will have meetings every month on the second Saturday.  We'd love to help you get away from your foolish addiction to Windows.  We'll give you free bootable CDs with Linux and help you with problems.  

Another group that many of us belong to is Mug (http://www.mug.org).  The meeting for this group is the second Tuesday (hey, that's in just a few days).  We typically have more formal presentations.  Someone may be willing to help you there as well.
