A simplistic interpretation of these might be:

"If you don't want to be answered by someone who disagrees,
 then don't say anything that someone, who reacts, disagrees with."

"If you don't react to statements you disagree with,
 then you appear to agree."



The logical consequence (see below) of these simplified statements is:
  Messages should be sent if and only if those who disagree cannot react
    and those who react, agree.
  Recipients who disagree cannot be sent messages or must react.

The first sounds like silencing minority opinion and the second sounds
like enforced groupthink.



Recognizing that attacking simplistic interpretations (i.e. strawman fallacy)
does not invalidate the originals, can you qualify your statements,
so as to make simplistic interpretations still valid?

May I suggest a compromise?
  If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all.
  If you disagree, suggest something positive, but not so loudly
    that you drowned out others.
  Tolerate all opinions except intolerance.
