	You could have said. "I disagree and here is why."

	I would have read what you wrote and may have learned something

	....and you follow with additional insults.

	Just because you disagree with someone or feel they have some series
of facts wrong doesn't mean you now suddenly have a right to throw insults
around.

	There is no reason, on an otherwise friendly discussion mailing
list, to throw around petty insults or be outwardly rude towards one
another, even if there is strong disagreement over a topic of discussion. 

	Personally, I would rather stick to the topic of discussion than to
act rudely towards one another. This is because I am well aware that even
though I may strongly disagree with the personal beliefs of another member,
that other member still has something to contribute to discussions.

	If you want to make this political. Yes, I firmly believe that my
"liberal" view on mailing list etiquette is far superior to your
name-calling, rude, insulting "conservative" view. (Of course, the wise
person would replace both the terms "liberal" and "conservative" with the
word PERSONAL, because that is what it really is.)

	Do you understand this viewpoint?
