    I agree. Doing the math, I figured that one could cut somewhere 
between $1000 and $1800 off their yearly gas expenses, with gas being 
around $3.25 (If I am remembering correctly), filling up at least once 
per week, by switching to a motorscooter.

    Yeah, summer driving is very different from winter driving, which is 
what makes those 3-wheeled commuters far more attractive, in that there 
is typically enough space and available power to provide for a heater 
and or small AC unit. Of course, driving one of those in the winter 
months would likely be pretty dependent upon level of snowfall, as they 
typically need to be lower to the ground for stability reasons.
