As I understand it, there wasn't an incredibly large amount of oil
coming out of Iraq before the war and while the levels haven't returned
to the levels prior to the war, the overall Iraq contribution to world
oil supply wasn't something that couldn't have been overtaken by ramping
up production across other oil fields. Which I understand has been done.
So, while there is more oil being made available on the market
today, the per barrel price is still high, there's still "not enough"
refineries and thus gas at the pump is going to keep rising.
Want to change that? Talk everyone and I mean everyone, into getting
Motorscooters and or buying/building those three-wheeled "kit" cars that
use motorcycle components.
That will put a significant drop in demand on Gasoline, while
seriously cutting Carbon emissions. Won't happen, but a guy can dream...
