As someone who votes Libertarian most of the time, and who also reads
both Liberty and Reason magazines regularly, I find little of what
Bill Maher says that is anywhere close to Libertarian philosophy.

The Republicans want to be your father, and the Democrats want
to be your mother, while Libertarians would just prefer that we
all be treated as adults.

Maher seems to be merely "anti-Fathergovernment", but that's it.
