[mdlug] Auto apt updates via a cron job

What's the group yea/nea feelings, about using a cron job to do an apt
update of apt packages, security, etc?   We have a few servers, and I was
asked about setting it up so no need to manually do the apt for updates.
 My feeling is not a good idea, just the fact you may want to hold on
updates to them for a few days before adding to see if unforeseen problems
on patches.   For now they are all Ubuntu based, but may be going to redhat
and debian systems as well later.
