[mdlug] Old laptop screen broke

Without seeing it, I'm guessing that there may be a video output port
(VGA / DFI / HDMI) on it, which you may be able to hook up an external
monitor (you may need to buy a corresponding cable). In my experience F6
is the button to press to cycle through the options. Your keyboard
should have an icon above F6 to indicate if it's available. I don't know
if the machine will keep that setting between boots, but it may if it
senses a connection. IDK.
