After the discussion at our last meeting about the latest version of
LibreOffice (v24), I downloaded and installed it. All hell broke loose !!
They did something (again) that allows only one manual save to the
document (Writer & Calc). I cannot save  the file again manually
(although it  does APPEAR to save itself ever so-may minutes, but have
not confirmed - too busy with my own work). I have to save as a
different file name. Every web page I saw refers to the OS, so I tried
everything I could find (that seemed it would help), but NEVER any luck.
As a last resort  I uninstalled it, and re-installed v7.6.6 (which I
installed only a week or so ago) .... and voila! It works great! Guess
it's not the OS (Windows 10) after all. I know it seems the other way
around, but I can't argue with the results   If there is a setting in LO
to account for this, I couldn't find it. Any ideas?

I don't have time for dealing with their shortsightedness !!
