[mdlug] Missing account in Thunderbird

Maybe someone can help me...

I was in Tbird and all of a sudden my gmail account disappeared. The
other accounts are still there, so my profile is still intact (such as
it is). All online references to restoring an account refer to restoring
a profile from backup, but I can't find a single reference that tells me
where the backup folder/files is/are located. I have no idea where the
backup is located.

Can someone help?
