For me, this cloud has a silver lining. More and more, over the years,
Linux has been overkill for my needs.
So I've pulled out of my attic my old Kaypro 2x, with two floppies,
64KB of RAM, and nimble 2Mhz Z80. I'll write my books with Wordstar and
do my programming with Turbo Pascal 2.0. I've been wanting to do this
for a long time, and this shutdown gives me the excuse I need to
actually do it.
Thank you so much for my 25 years with Linux. It's been a good run, but
I'm going back to simpler times.
