It has been a L-o-o-o-n-g time since I Have been to an MDLUG meeting,
but I agree, in the 21st century there is no reason not to allow
remote participation in such meetings, and I also feel that meeting in
person is a benefit that some of us forget who spend all our time
online, particularly those of us who work from home these days.
However, as a FLOSS loving community, I hope we use a service like
Jitsi, rather than some proprietary freedom denying "service" like
Zoom.
