Couldn't you just set up a Gmail account and auto forward to your personal email?

Depends on how long you need the address for as well. DigitalOcean and other VPS providers have easy to deploy email appliances. You could run your own but you'd need a domain as well.

Rolling your own email server is a great sysadmin rite of passage too.
