I attended a previous SUMIT and enjoyed the presentations.
It was definitely not a sales pitch in the guise of a conference.

I wish they listed what the speakers' topics are...but I signed
up anyway.  Anyone else going?

This free, one-day conference is an exciting opportunity to hear 
recognized experts discuss the latest issues, trends, and threats in 
cybersecurity and privacy. SUMIT_2018 focuses on U-M’s role as a leader 
and best in security and privacy research. This year’s presenters are 
all U-M faculty, students, or alumni.
