Hi all got a interesting one for you.  Running debian 9 and getting this
when I try to do a apt-get or even apt, yes I do use sudo.  Its in a
qubes vm so not that big of a deal if need to recreate.  I have already
tried reinstating libapt and libapt-pkg from the cach folder. it
installed with no visible message issues but still get the error.  Its a
debian VM with kali meta-packages installed, the systems and tools seems
to work fine from what I have tested, just apt and apt-get issue.

Whis is what I am getting.

apt-get: relocation error:
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libapt-private.so.0.0: symbol
_ZN3URIcvNSt7__cxx1112basic_stringIcSt11char_traitsIcESaIcEEEB5cxx11Ev
version APTPKG_5.0 not defined in file libapt-pkg.so.5.0 with link time
reference

Thanks Again

Pat

FYI:  starting to play with Qubes OS as my system so maybe after a few
months of use I will give a talk if anyone is interested.
