My pi is permanently assigned to the task of monitoring fuel
consumption. However, I do have a spare SD card for it. It has a later
Raspbian on it (which uses systemd to start and stop services instead
of the old method whatever that is) that I was planning to upgrade to,
but I was having problems with the wifi dongle dropping out. So I use
the original version. As it might be hot that day I might as well
bring the pi in. More so the Scrapberry that I VNC into it with.

I carry a 3' ethernet cable with my laptop. I have a longer one from
i3detroit's graveyard, currently used on the desktop PC. I could pack
that one as well.

My laptop has a built-in SD card drive (though it won't boot from it),
and I have another multi-card reader.

I also have a 110AC to USB power supply that originally came with a
Winbook tablet and some cords.

I could also bring my G-router (DLink, the next step up from the
B-router that I started with) if you like.

The laptop also has an Apache server on it, placed there during a
recent MDLUG. I could put a Raspbian image or two in the Apache root.
(I found it useful for putting the first App on an Android phone after
a hard reset without internet access.)
