blockquote, div.yahoo_quoted { margin-left: 0 !important; border-left:1px #715FFA solid !important; padding-left:1ex !important; background-color:white !important; } I've seen a LOT of things lately that seem to be past sci-fi becoming bleeding edge comp-sci.
Talking to computers: aka Siri
Computer based agents: aka Alexa

This led to a long discussion about some of the club practices.

We have a not for profit status 501C3PO (or something like that). We've seen no advantages to keeping this. So, the general conciseness in the meeting was to let this lapse.
We have a bank account with very little money and no activity. We have decided to close the account.
We have been meeting in a library for free. We attempted to think of alternatives but we didn't come up with a solution that we could be sure of. We are open to further discussion on this. We had a long exchange about how to use certificates.
A few topics about science fiction . . .
The new Star Trek movie Rouge One comes out December 16. We plan to have a group go to see the movie together. Join in. Let the force . . .
The movie called: "Arrival" just came out. Part of the movie dealt with using language to understand things. Language wires your brain to mold your comprehension. Are we seeing the issues we have from a perspective that relates to the way we were taught to communicate?
