Which do you like better, lobster or sirloin steak? They're both
great, and so are Void and Manjaro OpenRC. I'm not the slightest bit
concerned about the sliver of systemd left in Manjaro OpenRC.

Two things flipped it Void's way for me:

1) The OpenRC edition is supported only by a few people, and I'm not
confident it will stick around year after year.

2) I like Runit much better than the OpenRC/sysvinit combination on
Manjaro-OpenRC. So much so that if I'd stayed with Manjaro-OpenRC, I
would have laid down Epoch, Runit, s6, or Suckless Init Plus
daemontools-encore plus Littkit in place of OpenRC/sysvinit.

IMHO you can't go wrong with either distro. And they're similar enough
that switching between them isn't all that difficult.
