[mdlug] Social Media for the Club

We had a young lady in our latest meeting and she asked which social media tools we use.  Our response that we use email, err, ahh kind of made her think we were a bunch of old geeks.  Well, we are but it got me thinking.  Maybe the reason we don't see many people coming to our meetings is we are not in the right media.  

I know we have this email list.  I know some people use Google +.  I have some friends on Facebook.  My wife uses something called Facetime.  I've seen twitter used by a lot of people.   The company I work for uses Yammer.  I see someone using Reddit.   I know the MUG.org group has some success with Meetup. I have a few newsfeeds on my phone. I knew a group of young people who used texting to coordinate events.
