Hi Craig,

I hope all is well. Thanks for taking the time to read email. My name is
Cam Lampkin and I am a IT Recruiter with TEKsystems here in Southfield,
MI. I wanted to reach and network with you to see if you were interested
or knew someone interested in the position below.

To give you more insight into the group; the team consists of engineers,
admins, disaster recovery specialist and security engineers. They do not
have on the team someone solely tied to this role below. The candidate
will be the Systems Engineer/Perl Programmer functioning as the SME for
Perl; re-writing scripts and all the code in support of the Asia Pacific
team. The Perl code that is currently being used is 7 years old and
there is about 25,000 lines of Perl scripts that needs to be updated.
This manager/group is very flexible; they don't work over 40 hours a
week and some folks come in at 7am and leave at 3pm others come in at
9am and leave at 5pm. Ford is also looking to move towards a 50/50 model
as oppose to 60/40 in which they are looking to hire potential
contractors that have bachelor degrees as I mentioned on the phone.

Position Description:

***ITI/RRS*** Develop specialized tools to automate security tasks, both
complex and simple configurations that can be performed directly by the
end-user (self-service mode) Act as primary interface to Security
Analysts, support groups and end-user to analyze requirements and
deliver automation solutions Maintain and Improve tools current tool
developed in Active Perl. Design and develop new security tools to
assist security analysts and customers. Ability to, quickly fix bugs and
solve problems. Conduct usability tests to solve problems with
interfaces and improve usefulness. Ensure on-time delivery of
deliverables and milestones each release. Provide technical solutions
that are sustainable, supportable and transitioned to the infrastructure
support team.

Skills Required:

-Large enterprise experience with network operations, providing
automation and tooling to provide efficient operations -Senior level
programming experience, Perl, CGI, HTML, REXX, Javascript frameworks,
JQuery, JSON, AJAX, XML, Shell, in Unix development environment
-Database programming experience with multiple SQL databases (Oracle
prefer). Ability to work with complex database schemas and code complex
SQL statements -Medium level Unix administration skills -Medium level
Web server admin skills -Providing excellent customer service to both
internal and external customers. -Experience working with
cross-functional teams. -Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills

Experience Required:
