[mdlug] MDLUG Meeting Discussion - Change the time of the meeting?

We had a discussion or two in the MDLUG meeting today about the low attendance.

We are wondering what is keeping people away.  Obviously, the weather may have some impact here.  But we have been a small group for some time.

Some ideas were mentioned to get us to a higher attendance.

One idea was location.  We've talked about this before.  A few people have mentioned that we could move to another spot to see if attendance picks up.  We were hoping that going to the location we are currently using would bring in new people.  We've seen a few.  

Another location thought was to move back further south.  We've been unable to find a spot that provides all of the items we are used to: free, large enough, screen (either big screen or projector) comfortable.

One of the members suggested that perhaps i3Detroit (i3detroit.org) would work. 

Finally, the idea of moving the time to later in the day developed.  A couple options were suggested.  A popular option was to have a dinner at 4:30 PM followed by a meeting that starts at 6:00 PM. Anyone could skip the dinner and come directly to the meeting.

So, what are the thoughts about moving the time to something like this?
