[mdlug] strange network issue

Swapped cable, no change and nic is build in type on motherboard, still
could be nic going bad I guess. Not seen any drop of packets as of yet
so not pointing to bad nic. Still finding that if I do a ifdown then
ifup it starts working even after a reboot. only if it sets for a few
days then it will have the connection issue. I have a few other
machines connected to same switch an no issues with them.
any other thoughts?
