	Hi;

	Well #mdlug is not really for the lug. It has over a decade
of history as an informal chatting location, not with just Detroit
area people, but also with east Germans, and other international
drop-ins.

	Being greeted with

"This channel is logged - http://www.mdlug.org/irc-mdlug"

	And having the logs posted unfiltered to the web is just
unfriendly. And offputting to Germans visitors in particular.

	Currently, #mdlug is at a low point, with almost no usage.
The logging and web posting policy will probably kill it. Oh well,
I have no powers. I have just been taking most of my conversations
onto private /msg. So your logs will mostly be lots of nothing.

	I would ask you leave #mdlug alone to its history, and
maybe make a #mdlug-logged or something for local lug related
stuff, if you want logs. Otherwise pretty much the only traffic
it receives will just go elsewhere, or die.

Paul
