[mdlug] Accessing dvd writer in k3b from a remote login

[R KANNAN]

I could mount the dvd writer fine and can read the files. I could even
burn an image with

dd if=<path_to_image> of=/dev/dvdrecord

This gave me an input/output error but seems to have burned the image
as far as I can tell.

But I cannot see the writer from k3b.
