I'm not taking them to task for that.  Both were designed as single user 
stand alone systems.  Networking was not an issue.

Security was getting addresses in the Later Amiga systems. networking 
had become an issue and user/administrator was coming into use on the 
*nix model.  I can't say too much as I've moved away from it.
