We have them, compared to 1968.  But the code is massive, the load is 
huge and "elegant programing" is a thing of the past.

My 1998 Amiga had an image prossing program like GIMP that ran in 2 meg 
of ram.  It took 10 meg of hard drive space.  GIMP is not better in what 
it does, and doesn't have some of the features that Image FX did.

Give me that degree of programing elegance and I HAVE a super computer.
